What this one is built to do
Pins that hold profile
Plastic pins slide smoothly against odd mouldings, copper supply lines, and vehicle wheel wells. Once pressed into shape, they copy the curve without gouging old trim or scratching clean paint.
Lock along the spine
The mechanical clamp tightens along the row of pins so nothing shifts while you walk the tool over to the saw horse. Flip the lever, set it on your tile or plywood, and run a pencil right along the edge.
Adjustable pin tension
If the teeth loosen up after months of riding in the bottom of a tool bucket, you can snug the frame down with a turn of the hardware. The teeth stay firm enough to hold their shape during layout.
Tough plastic construction
The ABS body and pins stand up to wet cuts, damp basements, and job site grit without rusting. You still supply the sharp pencil and the jigsaw, but the layout work takes one pass instead of five.
