Contour Gauge 10-Inch, Linkable

Cutting flooring around a radiator pipe or scribing a shelf against an uneven wall leaves little room for bad guesses. We built this gauge with tight teeth that slide around odd contours and hold their place. Push it flush, flip the lock, and take the shape to the saw.

What this one is built to do

Lock holds the line

Once the pins seat against the moulding or the pipe, flip the lever on the side. The pins stay where you pushed them so you can carry the shape over to your plywood without losing the curve.

Snap sections together

Odd door casings and deep trim runs often run wider than one frame. The ends interlock, so you can join gauges together along the bench when a single pass across the trim is too short.

Durable plastic teeth

The body uses rigid plastic that slides smoothly across sheet metal, tile edges, and rough framing lumber. It will not rust when sitting in a damp basement toolbox or behind the seat of the truck.

Pencil is on you

The gauge gives you the curve, but transferring it cleanly takes a sharp pencil or a fine scribe from your own apron. Lay the flat face against your stock and trace along the teeth.
