What this one is built to do
Spliceable layout body
The sections lock together when you need to run a line across wide stock without picking the ruler up. You can separate the pieces when working inside a narrow drawer face.
Angle indexing stops
The adjustment knob locks into common bevel angles so you can scribe radial marks and angled cuts across the workpiece without bringing a separate protractor to the bench.
Hardware hole placement
Positioning blocks slide along the arms so you can mark handle spacing from two edges at the same time. The stops stay put while you move from door to door.
Laser marked aluminum
The body is anodized aluminum alloy that stays straight across the board. Laser etched hash marks will not rub off after seasons of riding in a tool tote.
