3D Multi-Angle Square 8.5-Inch with Angle Pin

Setting out rafters or squaring a timber joint usually means shuffling two different rulers across the bench. We machined this block from anodized aluminum with scales etched along three faces so you wrap a line around corners without picking up the piece. The small indexing pin stores right in the frame when not set into a degree hole.

What this one is built to do

Three edge layout

Laser etched scales run across three faces of the aluminum body. You can scribe across the top face and down both sides of a board without lifting the square or losing your mark.

Hidden angle pin

The small indexing pin threads into the frame for storage. Pull it out and drop it into any preset angle hole to lock your angle against the edge of the stock.

Drill bit sizing holes

A row of gauge holes through the center lets you check drill bit sizes before you bore into good wood. It keeps you from digging through the bit index with calipers in hand.

Solid machined frame

We cut the entire body from aluminum alloy so it stays true when dropped on the shop floor. The anodized surface shrugs off moisture and keeps the etched lines readable in low bench light.
