3D Multi-Angle Measuring Square

A regular speed square stays flat on the stock, leaving you to roll the board to finish a line around the corner. We cut this one from anodized aluminum so the body wraps three sides in one pass. It carries an angle pin stowed inside the frame to lock preset stops without guessing your bevel.

What this one is built to do

Wraps three edges

The frame drops over the corner of your lumber, resting scales against three sides at the same time. You lay down a square crosscut line across the face and down the edges without moving the piece or realigning your pencil.

Stowed angle pin

The locating pin sits inside the body until you need a preset angle. Pull it out, drop it into the drilled stop, and run your pencil along the edge. The pin keeps the stop firm against the wood while you scribe.

Laser marked scales

We etch the inch markings directly into the anodized aluminum face so shop grit and sweat will not rub the numbers off. The edge lines sit crisp enough for a fine mechanical pencil lead to catch the groove for parallel scribing.

Drill sizing holes

A row of gauge holes down the center helps you check unlabeled twist bits before boring into a finished rail. You bring your own pencil and lumber; the square drops right into an apron pocket between cuts.
