Solar House Number 1, Nine-Inch

The street gets dark fast once the porch light is off, and visitors miss the driveway. We build this solar address sign with a wide face and clear numbers backlit by a warm glow that turns on when daylight fades. It needs direct sunlight overhead and your own drill to mount.

What this one is built to do

Solar collection overhead

The top edge holds a coated panel that takes in light through the day. A full day of clear sky keeps the numbers glowing through the night until dawn breaks, with no wiring run through the wall.

Warm backlit contrast

Dark numerals sit against an illuminated field so the address reads clearly from the street. The light stays steady and even without the harsh glare of raw white diodes.

Weathered plastic body

We molded the housing from heavy outdoor polymer that handles summer heat, hard frost, and direct rain. It stays mounted through the seasons without the panel clouding over or the frame snapping under winter ice.

Mounting to siding or brick

The box holds the wall hardware, screws, and a paper template for marking your pilot holes. Bring your own drill and a bit sized for your siding or masonry before you climb the ladder.
