Two-tool bundles

Handheld Welder, Eighty Rods and Five-Pound Pack

The box arrives heavy because we packed the stick gun with a substantial stack of mild steel rod so you can finish the run. You set the dial to match your scrap thickness, strike an arc, and lay beads across thin tube or heavy angle. You supply your own dark glass and chipping hammer.

What this one is built to do

Dialing the current

The knob on the back adjusts the output so you do not burn through sheet steel or stick the electrode on thick bar. It lets you dial in the heat before you strike an arc on clean stock.

Large supply of electrodes

You open the carton to find the gun resting beside a heavy stack of general purpose mild steel rods. Having that much filler metal on the shelf means you can tack a fence and weld a trailer tongue.

Striking on rusty iron

These rods run clean on standard current and strike an arc without endless tapping. The flux covers poor joint fit and leaves a brittle crust of slag that chips away with a wire brush.

What you need to bring

The carton gives you the gun, the ground clamp, and the filler rods. A dark welding hood, heavy leather gloves, and your own angle grinder to clean the mill scale come off your own garage shelf.
