Welding Machine with One-Pound Rod Pack
This small stick welder packs along a starter bundle of steel rods so you can start running beads on iron or carbon steel without an extra trip.
We paired the portable welder with a bundle of rods so you can strike an arc the day the box lands. The dial adjusts the output for light sheet or thicker iron stock. You supply the dark helmet, the chipping hammer, and clean metal to clamp to.
Price and stock live with the storefront and can move between visits.

You get the welding unit and five pounds of low carbon electrodes in the same carton. There is no second run to the hardware store before you can weld a broken hinge.
A single knob sets the output current to match the iron thickness on your bench. The inverter holds the arc steady while you run the bead across the joint.
The included rods run flat, horizontal, or vertical on carbon steel. Shallow penetration helps bridge gaps when the two pieces of metal do not sit flush against each other.
The flux coating starts the arc with a light tap and leaves light spatter on the metal. Slag lifts off the cooling bead with a few taps from your chipping hammer.
