What this one is built to do
Aluminum body and bushings
We machine the rails and guide blocks from aluminum alloy so the metal does not rust in an unheated garage. The bushings guide the bit straight without chewing out the hole over repeated use.
Center nut adjustment
Loosen the center nut to slide the guides out to match your handle spread. Tighten it down and the spacing stays locked from the top drawer down to the bottom base cabinet.
Edge distance stops
The fence sets your offset from the top or side edge of the door. Set the depth once against your layout line, tighten the thumbscrew, and flip the jig for left or right doors.
Folds flat for storage
When the pulls are on, the center hardware loosens so the arms fold together. It tucks flat into the top tray of a tool chest instead of taking up half a drawer.
