What this one is built to do
Stable inverter arc
The internal inverter keeps the current steady once you strike. It starts without sticking hard on carbon steel or plain iron, leaving less slag to chip off your seam after the bead cools.
Dial for current
A single knob sets the output for the thickness of your stock. Turn it down for thin sheet patches or dial it up when you need deeper bite into heavy angle iron along the fence.
All-position steel rods
The included low-carbon electrodes run on direct or alternating current across flat seams, vertical joints, and overhead spots. They fill gaps smoothly when two cut edges do not meet squarely on the bench.
True-color viewing lens
The helmet lens filters the bright arc without muddy green tinting across your field of view. You see the joint and the molten pool in natural color while laying down your bead.
