What this one is built to do
Pure copper motor
We wind the motor with pure copper to keep torque steady as the teeth bite into green pine or dry oak. It spins the chain without bogging down on wrist-thick wood.
Deep hardened chain
The guide chain goes through a deep quenching heat treatment so the cutting teeth hold their edge through a stack of brush. When it dulls, loosen the plate and swap on a fresh link.
One hand balance
We shaped the grip so the battery balances the bar. You can reach into thick thorn bushes or hold a branch with one gloved hand while the teeth clear it with the other.
What you supply
The saw ships with a rechargeable battery pack and charger, but chain bar oil stays on your shelf. Dab a little oil across the rail before the first cut and top off the charge.
