What this one is built to do
Copper motor drive
We wind the motor with pure copper coils to keep internal friction down. The teeth bite into green sapwood or dry hardwood and keep moving without bogging down on ordinary yard limbs.
One hand balance
The slim body keeps the weight centered over your grip. You can reach into thick lilac bushes or overhead branches without the awkward bulk of a full gas tool.
Trigger and guard setup
The motor stays dead until you press the lock button and squeeze the trigger together. A hinged top baffle swings over the chain as it cuts to keep flying chips deflected away from you.
Battery off the shelf
The pack snaps straight into the base of the handle and charges on a standard wall plug. Top it off before tucking the saw on the garage shelf so it is ready for the next storm.
