What this one is built to do
Reinforced steel chassis
The frame underneath the wide padded seat is welded steel. It rolls across packed turf and loose garden soil, so you can pull yourself along the row with the extended handle instead of standing up between every bush.
Trimmer motor and blades
The small trimmer head clips green sprigs and light hedge growth down to the wood line. If wet clippings wedge into the drive gears, clear the teeth by hand before you run the motor again.
Off season pack away
The seat and the cutter pack away together in the corner of the garage once frost hits. Keep the trimmer battery on a periodic charging schedule through the winter months so the pack stays ready for spring.
What you supply
Both pieces pack into one carton for the bench. You bring the yard debris bags, the charging outlet near the wall, and the hand rag to wipe wet clippings off the cutter teeth before putting the tool away.
