What this one is built to do
Automatic water switch
The pump starts when water reaches a set depth around the housing and shuts off after dropping low, running a few moments longer to clear the intake. You can leave it on the tarp through a storm.
Preinstalled check valve
We fit the check valve inside the discharge adapter before packing the box. You will not find a separate loose valve piece in the carton, so thread the fitting straight onto your hose line.
Strainer base and net
Leaves and yard grit gather fast around winter covers. The slotted base plate and removable filter net keep coarse muck out of the impeller so water moves steadily across the job.
Cover and well duty
Set it flat on a sagging pool tarp, drop it into a hot tub basin, or clear a flooded flat roof. The motor pushes standing rainwater out through standard hose fittings you already own.
