What this one is built to do
Copper motor drive
The copper windings deliver steady torque through knotty green wood and dry kindling. It keeps the chain moving through the cut without stalling out when you lean into a limb.
Two battery packs
We pack two rechargeable batteries into the kit so one sits on the charger while the other works. Swap them at the woodpile when the first pack runs down.
Treated guide chain
The steel chain links go through a deep quenching heat treatment to hold an edge against dirty bark. It tracks smoothly along the short bar without chattering on thin branch ends.
One hand balance
We shaped the orange body to sit balanced in one hand while you hold branches aside with the other. The compact frame works well in tight hedge growth where larger tools bind.
