Mini Chainsaw 6-Inch, Upgraded Body, Second Run

Storm wood sits along the fence until someone walks down there with a saw. We built this second revision with a pure copper motor and a narrow body you can swing with one hand. The bar handles green branch work, small deadwood, and kindling without an extension cord dragging through the grass.

What this one is built to do

Pure copper winding

The motor inside uses solid copper windings to cut down internal drag. It turns the chain at full speed without bogging when the teeth bite into dense green ash or dried oak branches.

Thumb lock and trigger

The throttle will not move on its own. You press the side lock with your thumb before the trigger engages, and a top baffle keeps thrown chips from flying straight back toward your knuckles.

One hand on the grip

The slim frame keeps the bulk low so your wrist is not fighting leverage over your head. You can steady a branch with one gloved hand while the teeth work through the wood.

Oil from your shelf

The saw ships dry in the molded case. Keep a squeeze bottle of bar and chain oil on your bench, give the rail a few drops before work, and top the battery off between yard sweeps.
