What this one is built to do
Square corner brackets
Thick steel corners screw into the frame lumber to hold the joints rigid. They fit common framing boards and work on gates that swing left or right across the walk.
Welded hinge plates
The hinges come welded straight to the bracket steel. That keeps the pivot solid against the post instead of letting the wood screws bear all the weight alone.
Tension cable and latch
The pack includes the steel wire, tensioner, latch, pull ring, and both screw lengths. Tightening the cable lifts the far corner back into line with the catch.
What stays on your bench
You need your own drill, bits, and framing timber. We give you the steel hardware, but the rotten posts and warped cedar pickets still come off your pile.
