What this one is built to do
Automatic line feed
The head feeds line out when the motor starts up, and the small blade on the guard trims off the extra length. Do not pull the line out by hand, or it drags past the guard.
Edging wheel on concrete
A single button releases the cutting head so you can twist it sideways. The guide wheel rides along the sidewalk seam, keeping the line vertical against the curb instead of digging into the turf.
Shaft and handle adjustment
The center shaft slides longer or shorter, and the loop handle tilts to match your reach. You set the balance once so your arms carry the weight level without you hunching over the grass.
Two batteries in box
We pack two batteries and a charger so one pack can sit on the bench while the other runs down the ditch line. Extra spools of line come in the box, with one already wound inside.
